Alexandroupolis Culinary Students at Kyklopas Olive Mill for taste-testing

We recently hosted culinary students and their instructors from IEK Alexandroupolis vocational training college at Kyklopas Olive Mill. It was an interesting day full of learning experiences as they toured our facilities. They saw the olive oil making process up close and learnt about the environmentally friendly management of the mill’s olive pits and wastewater. After the tour we gathered in an area specially designed for tasting olive oil. They tried Kyklopas early harvest olive oil with its distinct taste and aromas. They also learnt how to distinguish and categorise different olive oils. They understood the different products in our range and each product’s use in cooking. At the end of this sunny day, we visited Kyklopas’ ancient olive groves, seeing trees thousands of years old. We thank you for a wonderful visit and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
