Alexandroupolis resident Vasiliki Yiagli once again won an award for her exceptional dish at an international competition. .

As part of the DETROP International Food Expo, an international culinary competition was held with professionals from southern European and South Asian countries competing. Among the judges was the well-known Greek chef Argyro Barbarigou. Vasiliki Yiagli took part and was awarded for her superb creation that included Kyklopas extra virgin olive oil and Kyklopas Lemon Dressing.

She made marinated smoked salmon on roasted celery root with a shrimp pate, white chocolate honeycomb and pepper.

As part of her dish, she made a green sauce from Kyklopas early harvest olive oil, green parsley, spearmint and celery leaves. The salmon was smoked in a homemade smoker, with her injecting Kyklopas olive oil into salmon while it was being smoked. She used Kyklopas naturally infused lemon olive oil in both her shrimp pate and her wild greens. She sprayed all her vegetables with Kyklopas olive oil as a finishing touch.
