A big “thank you” is the least we owe to Gastronomos, Angelos Rentoulas, and his great team.
In gastronomy and journalism, some people don’t just look for quick stories. Instead, they truly respect the producer. They search for the truth behind the harvest, the hard work, and the people of the land, highlighting those who work hard in regional Greece with a focus on quality and genuine value.
Our relationship with Gastronomos goes back many years: from our moving recognition at the 10th Quality Awards in 2017 through blind tasting, to their deep, practical support for our homeland when they chose to host the awards in Alexandroupoli to support Evros after the wildfires. They honored us again by featuring us in the magazine’s Easter edition, and today they touch us once more with the recent visit of journalist Giannis Papadimitriou, who captured our journey and daily life in Makri with rare empathy and precision.
When journalism is practiced with such integrity, honesty, and deep love for agriculture, it does not just showcase a product—it gives strength to an entire region to keep going.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your steady presence, consistency, and trust.
