Gastronomos magazine summer edition features Ages.
Our brand-new Ages was featured in the Special Products section of the Summer edition of Gastronomos magazine in the June 2020 issue (Editor-in-Chief Angelos Redula).
The article entitled "The Eternal Oil of Evros" is accompanied by an amazing summer photo by Angelos Giotopoulos.
The article begins with a text from Nikoleta Sakruonitou : "Not a month has passed since the released of the dark, transparent, numbered bottles under the name Ages and it has already received a Gold Award in Berlin, at the prestigious Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards.
From the 2019 harvest, this early harvest olive oil is produced from olives of the local Makri variety, harvested early, resulting in exciting green aromas. Almost as soon as you open the bottle, there are striking aromas of unripe almond, unripe banana and green apple, basil, freshly cut grass and tomato leaves. Aromas that you experience with the same intensity and complexity in the mouth.
This early harvest olive oil is treated as a seasoning. It is not cooked, but added at the end to add sweetness, freshness, finesse, and cool fragrances. It is a triumph of taste, the perfect appetizer before lunch with a piece of freshly baked sourdough bread and flower of salt (Fleur de sel)."
