The easiest and fluffiest mini pies made with Kyklopas extra virgin olive oil! (a step-by-step recipe)
Here is a recipe for the most delicious and fluffiest mini sausage rolls, cheese pies, ham and cheese pies and any other kind of pie your heart desires. They are as good as, if not better than from a bakery, and certainly worth trying!
The pies are ideal for school lunch, and made from ingredients that we normally have at home, including of course, Kyklopas extra virgin olive oil.
• 600g plain flour
• 80g butter
• 80g Kyklopas extra virgin olive oil
• 140g milk
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 sachet of yeast
• 1 egg to brush on top
Mix all the ingredients together and let the dough rise for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into 4. Open up the dough with a rolling pin and cut into triangles as shown in the photos. Add whatever filling you want and roll up. Place the pies on baking paper on a baking tray and brush with egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
They are so good you will want to make them all the time!
